A Foundation Built on Service

Kyle’s story began with a profound sense of duty. In 1995, he embarked on a career in law enforcement as a police officer in New Britain, Connecticut. His journey through the ranks was marked by extraordinary assignments and specialized training that would shape his future endeavors.

Kyle’s tenure as a patrol officer was only the beginning. His role expanded as he joined the COPS Proactive Crime Suppression Unit, where he tackled crime with innovative strategies. His expertise was further showcased in the Fatal Accident Reconstruction Team, where he conducted advanced investigations into devastating accidents involving cars, motorcycles, trains, and commercial vehicles. His work in this area not only demonstrated his technical proficiency but also his compassion and dedication to seeking justice for those affected by tragedy.

In addition to his investigative prowess, Kyle was a pivotal member of the SWAT Team. As an entry team member and police sniper, he exhibited remarkable precision and bravery in high-stakes situations, underscoring his commitment to public safety.

Transition to Legal Expertise

With a robust background in law enforcement, Kyle transitioned into the legal field, pursuing a Juris Doctor degree from Western New England Law School. His legal education was complemented by practical experience gained as an attorney and partner at Woolf & Macci, LLC, from 2005 to 2007. During this period, he honed his skills in various areas of law, Specializing in CRIMINAL DEFENSE and PERSONAL INJURY.

After successfully retiring from Law Enforcement, Kyle founded used his rare experience to open his own practice, the Law Offices of Attorney Kyle D. Macci, LLC. Here, he continued to apply his extensive knowledge of law enforcement and legal practice to provide comprehensive legal representation. His role as an attorney was further enriched by his ongoing work with the Hartford Police Union, where he was on call for emergency responses to officer-involved shootings.

Voluntary Service and Military Valor

Kyle’s contributions to his community and profession are further exemplified by his voluntary activities. As a coordinator for the Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run from 2002 to 2005, he demonstrated his commitment to supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities. His involvement with the Hispanic Officers Association and the Italian Officers Association highlights his dedication to fostering diversity and inclusion within the law enforcement community.

His military service adds another layer of distinction to his career. Serving honorably in the United States Army, Kyle’s roles ranged from an infantry ground soldier to being selected for a position as a US ARMY Intelligence worker with the 325^th Division.  Attorney Macci then transferred to the19th Special Forces Group East Coast Bravo Team. His expertise in close-quarters combat, hostage rescue, sniper operations and dignitary protection and foreign internal defense missions underscores his versatility and dedication to national security.
